Thanks to Our Fabulous Sponsors (6-Nov-2009)

Saturday, November 7th, 2009

It’s been a busy week at the J Boye 2009 conference in Aarhus, Denmark. We’ve covered a few of the highlights here, and there are reams of tweets you can review here.

Now just before we step out into a chilly Friday evening we want to say a big thanks to the current CMSWire sponsors (follow them on Twitter). It’s you who have kept our geek gears turning and the keyboards merrily clacking. We are thankful.

Additionally, we know that travel budgets are down and that virtual events are up. Are you promoting a webinar or seminar? We offer highly effective event promotion packages. Check out our media kit and then get in touch to discuss your plans.

Telligent’s Newest Exec To Oversee Communications, Strategy Services

Friday, November 6th, 2009

Telligent's New VP Ops To Oversee Communications, Strategy Services While they may seem quiet lately considering the rush of social computing announcements coming out almost daily, Telligent (news, site) does not appear to be sitting on their laurels.

As a provider of a newly revamped social software platform, Telligent is in one of the most competitive markets today. So they need to be on their game.

To help them reach their goals they have appointed Kelly Brashear as director of services, reporting directly to the VP of Operations. His responsibilities? To oversee Telligent’s professional services team.

Brashear has a sales and service background, working for companies like CDC Software, Skywire Software and Electronic Data Systems. Interesting to note that Paul Brandt, Telligent’s new (since May) CEO was the founder and CEO of Skywire Software.

Telligent’s professional services team specializes in strategy and online communications, helping clients understand their needs and requirements for community software.
