Help! Enterprise software is failing! At least, that’s what Rob Tarkoff, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Business Productivity Solutions, Adobe, said in his presentation at this year’s Enterprise 2.0 conference in San Francisco.

Playing on yesterday morning’s speed dating with Sharepoint session, Tarkoff used his stage time to offer some “long term relationship” advice, and how Adobe plans to contribute to a customer-driven enterprise.

For those unfamiliar with the concept, Web Idol is a semi-serious but mostly humorous event loosely based on the extremely popular (with people we don’t know) American Idol TV show.

The event is a fast-paced set of competitive demos. Selected vendors will present short demos showing the best features of their systems. For those that prefer succinct, comparative presentations to long-winded demonstrations, this is the session for you.

Judging is done by an expert panel of judges who offer pithy commentary, but the audience holds power over the final outcome.
